The early childhood education program at college of the redwoods Del Norte enables you to earn an A. A. Degree while at the same time becoming certified to teach in a preschool or day care setting.

Your training will be conducted in a state-of-the-art child development center located on the College of the Redwoods Del Norte campus. The child development center is a collaborative facility joining the resources of the Del Norte child care councils Hansel Center, North Coast Children's Services Early Head Start Program, And College of the Redwoods Del Norte.

Classes are held in the mornings and in the evenings so that students can combine their education with work experience in preschools and day care centers throughout the county.
