Continuing Education

Since graduating, I have regularly attended continuing education classes and workshops. Although far too numerous to list here, they include experiences in: Positive Discipline workshops with Jane Nelson, parenting education and training workshops, developmentally-appropriate practices seminars, curriculum seminars, current trends workshops, teaching across the curriculum symposia and a variety of workshops dealing with public education issues.

I also am a member of various on-line ECE news groups and keep current by browsing numerous ECE periodicals via the Internet. As a member of various county boards and committees dealing with ECE and education in general, I keep current by reading the volumes of board materials and by attending board-training opportunities. These opportunities combined not only have kept me current in the field but have. I believe, allowed me to be on the cutting edge of ECE and education issues.
